EQ Systems is seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating steel components and assemblies according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions while maintaining established quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• •Perform welding on steel materials and components.
• •Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements.
• •Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components to specifications.
• •Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• •Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper workmanship.
• •Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• •Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• •Previous welding experience required.
• •Experience welding steel preferred.
• •Ability to read and accurately use tape measures.
• •Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• •Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• •Ability to perform physical tasks associated with welding and metal fabrication.
