Die Stelle ist zunächst bis zum 31.07.2030 im Rahmen des durch das BMFTR geförderte Vorhaben „Käte Hamburger Kolleg Rohstoffwelten – Kulturen im Umbruch“ befristet gemäß Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG). Die Möglichkeit zur Habilitation ist gegeben.

Aufgaben:

  • Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit im o. a. Vorhaben
  • Entwicklung eines eigenen Forschungsprojektes zum Thema Rohstoffpraktiken
  • Koordination internationaler Fellowships und Veranstaltungen

Voraussetzungen:

  • Abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium im Bereich der Geistes- oder Sozialwissenschaften mit internationalem Fokus.
  • Abgeschlossene Promotion. Der geforderte Abschluss muss spätestens zum Einstellungstermin vorliegen.
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch

Von Vorteil sind:

  • Vorkenntnisse in Rohstoffpolitik, Akteurshandeln (individuell/kollektiv) mit Bezug zu Rohstoffen
  • Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität und hohe Präsenz in Kassel
  • Arbeitserfahrungen in Drittmittelprojekten
  • Gründliche und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
  • Bereitschaft zur intensiven Mitwirkung bei Konzeption und Organisation von Workshops, Kolloquien und Sommerschulen
  • Ein hohes Maß an Organisationsfähigkeit und die Bereitschaft, sich in neue wissenschaftliche Themen einzuarbeiten
  • Interkulturelle Kompetenzen und Erfahrungen im Umgang mit internationalen Gastwissenschaftler:innen
