Through Capgemini's strategic partnerships with Microsoft, Google, Anthropic, and other leading technology providers, we design and deliver solutions that combine AI assistants, autonomous agents, enterprise knowledge, automation, and collaboration technologies to drive measurable business outcomes.

Whilst this role has a strong focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI, you will also have the opportunity to develop expertise across a broader ecosystem of emerging workplace AI technologies, including Gemini, Vertex AI, Claude, Cowork, enterprise search, knowledge management, and agentic AI platforms. We believe the future workplace will be powered by multiple AI capabilities working together, and we invest heavily in helping our people develop the breadth of skills needed to advise and deliver across this rapidly evolving landscape.

You will work alongside consultants, solution architects, data specialists, content management experts, AI engineers, and client stakeholders to shape and deliver transformational solutions that improve how organisations access knowledge, make decisions, automate work, and realise value from AI.

The Focus Of Your Role

As organisations continue to invest in digital workplace transformation, there is growing demand for solutions that help employees find information faster, collaborate more effectively, automate routine activities, and interact with business systems in more intuitive ways. As a Workplace AI & Agentic Transformation Engineer, you will help clients realise these outcomes through Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise content and knowledge management solutions.

You will work with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities where AI enabled workplace experiences, intelligent automation, business applications, and agentic workflows can improve the way work gets done. Combining strong consulting and engineering capabilities, you will design and deliver trusted solutions that enhance employee experience, unlock organisational knowledge, and drive measurable business value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve employee experience, collaboration, knowledge discovery, business processes, and operational efficiency through modern workplace technologies.
  • Facilitating workshops and discovery sessions to understand current ways of working, organisational challenges, and opportunities for workplace transformation and intelligent process improvement.
  • Translating business requirements into practical solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and the wider Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying workplace AI experiences, agents, and business applications that help employees unlock organisational knowledge, augment decision making, transform business processes, and deliver greater value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Implementing agentic workflows that connect enterprise content, business applications, collaboration platforms, and knowledge sources to transform how work is coordinated, decisions are made, and business outcomes are achieved.
  • Designing and implementing integrations between Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 services, business applications, content repositories, and line of business systems.
  • Applying emerging interoperability frameworks such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent to Agent (A2A) patterns, where appropriate, to enable secure interaction between agents, enterprise knowledge, business applications, and workplace services.
  • Supporting the adoption of modern knowledge management, enterprise search, and content services capabilities that improve information access, reuse, collaboration, and decision making across organisations.
  • Ensuring solutions are designed in accordance with enterprise governance, security, compliance, information management, and responsible AI requirements.
  • Establishing approaches for monitoring, measuring, and continuously improving user adoption, business outcomes, and solution effectiveness.
  • Supporting innovation workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and client engagements to help organisations understand and realise the value of next generation workplace technologies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Content Services, Business Applications, Digital Workplace, Data, and AI communities to deliver integrated business transformation outcomes.
  • Contributing to Capgemini assets, accelerators, delivery methodologies, and thought leadership within Workplace AI, Content Services, Knowledge Management, and Digital Workplace Transformation.

You will bring a blend of consulting, solution design, and engineering expertise, with the ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will be equally comfortable engaging with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and define successful outcomes, as you are designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and enterprise content services technologies. You will have a natural curiosity for emerging workplace technologies and a desire to help organisations unlock greater value from their people, processes, knowledge, and business applications.

For this role, we are looking for individuals who combine strong technical capability with the ability to think strategically, challenge existing ways of working, and help clients navigate the evolving landscape of workplace AI, knowledge management, collaboration, and business process transformation.
