Precision Imaging Centers is seeking an ARRT-registered X-Ray Technologist / CT Tech Assistant to join our Gate Parkway team in Jacksonville, FL.

This part-time position combines diagnostic X-ray responsibilities with hands-on support for our CT Technologists. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment while providing exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

X-Ray Responsibilities

• •Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations while maintaining high standards of image quality and patient safety
• •Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment
• •Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to imaging protocols

CT Tech Assistant Responsibilities

• •Assist CT Technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and exam setup
• •Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration in accordance with established protocols and authorized scope of practice
• •Complete patient screening and review relevant medical history, allergies, and contrast safety information
• •Explain exam preparation and procedures to patients to help ensure their comfort and understanding
• •Assist patients on and off the CT table and provide support throughout their visit
• •Prepare CT rooms, equipment, and supplies between examinations
• •Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or adverse reactions and promptly notify the CT Technologist
• •Maintain infection control, patient safety, and proper documentation standards
• •Work collaboratively with CT Technologists to maintain efficient patient flow

This is a combined X-Ray Technologist and CT Tech Assistant position. CT responsibilities involve assisting the CT Technologist rather than independently performing CT examinations.

Qualifications

• •ARRT(R) registered Radiologic Technologist (required)
• •Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• •Current BLS certification (required)
• •Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
• •Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy outpatient setting
• •Venipuncture experience preferred
• •Previous CT experience is a plus, but CT certification is not required for this assistant role
