Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to join our team at our Gate Parkway location in Jacksonville, Florida.

Schedule & Availability

This is a PRN (as-needed) position offering flexible shifts based on staffing needs and your availability. Ideal for technologists seeking supplemental income, additional hours, or a flexible work schedule.

Position Responsibilities

• •Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• •Review patient medical histories and verify physician orders prior to examinations
• •Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understanding
• •Properly position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• •Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection guidelines
• •Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• •Assist radiologists with procedures, including arthrograms, as needed
• •Maintain accurate patient documentation and examination records
• •Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure efficient patient care
• •Assist with other imaging departments and operational needs as appropriate
• •Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms

Minimum Qualifications

• •Current ARRT(R) certification – Required
• •Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license – Required
• •Current BLS certification – Required
• •High school diploma or GED
• •Minimum of 1 year of clinical radiologic technology experience preferred
• •Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients throughout scheduled shifts
• •Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• •Ability to safely position and assist patients during imaging procedures
