Your time here will look something like this...

The Apprenticeship Program begins in December/January with a short induction, providing apprentices with an overview of Citi, a technology training session, and an introduction to Citi's divisions. As an apprentice you will gain hands on work experience with deliverables and will be expected to add value to their teams during the 12 months. In addition to your daily work, Apprentices can expand their networks here at Citi.

The Apprenticeship Program is a 12-months opportunity in India. The Program will provide Apprentices with on-the-job-training supporting one of Citi's Business Groups. Opportunities are offered in Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, HR, Services, Risk and Control)

You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with a graduation date between December 2022 and June 2026

Role is to solve real business problems through strategic decisioning, analytical problem solving and visualization and dashboarding

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise - Expertise in data visualization, cleaning, dashboarding & process automation

Analyzes external and internal customer data using Hive, Python, Excel etc. to identify areas of opportunity across bank customer lifecycle.

Analytic Project Execution – Own and deliver multiple and complex analytic projects. This would require an understanding of business context, conversion of business problems and implementing such solutions to create economic value.

Domain expert – Individuals are expected to be domain expert in their sub field, as well as have a holistic view of other business lines to create better solutions. Key fields of focus are new customer acquisition, existing customer management, customer retention, campaign effectiveness, product development, pricing and payment optimization and digital journey.

Communication skills – Ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management

Good process/project management skills

Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide range areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in information technology / information systems / computer applications / Data Science / Business Analytics / MCA in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications.

Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members

Adept at managing and manipulating data using Python, Hive/SQL.

Prior experience in Data Analytics /Statistical Analysis is a plus

Proficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying inconsistencies, anomalies & patterns with data

Generate actionable Business Insights

Coming up with automated Techniques to remove redundancies

Good understanding of ML techniques

Tools and Platforms

Proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, Teradata

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and VBA

Preferred

o SAS on Mainframe

o Big Data/Hadoop environment and coding in Python.

o Development of Tableau Dashboard

Domain Skills:

Good understanding of

Banking domain (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, & Insurance etc.)

Audit Framework
