AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (SHEET METAL MECHANIC)

Summary

YOU WILL SERVE AS AN AIRCRAFT EXMANINER (SHEET METAL MECHANIC) IN THE MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT, PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION OF FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

• •You will examine, evaluate, and analyze the condition of assigned sheet metal mechanic systems, components, and accessories for assigned aircraft.
• •You will determine the product condition by identify and documenting all non-conforming discrepancies.
• •You will install and adjust flight controls, control cables, rods, bell cranks, pulleys and fairleads.
• •You will make informed technical decisions to determine and control the extent of disassembly and depth of repair and processing to only what is required and authorized.
