About the role

State Street Alpha Data Services (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider underpinning the Alpha front-to-back strategy. ADS combines technology products and managed services to deliver scalable data-management capabilities and measurable value for clients. We are looking for a Product Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end build, launch and ongoing evolution of ADS products, working across Product, Technology, Implementation and Service teams.

This role requires hybrid work model - at least 4 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle for ADS capabilities, from product definition and requirements through build, testing, release, client adoption and transition into sustainable service.

Translate client, service and strategic needs into clear product features, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities, ensuring commitments are understood and owned by Technology Product Owners.

Establish and maintain an integrated ADS product roadmap in partnership with Technology Product Owners and Product Practice Leads, aligning product investment, technical change and client implementation milestones.

Define delivery plans, stage gates and readiness criteria for new products and material enhancements, coordinating design, engineering, testing, operational readiness, deployment and post-release support.

Maintain transparent product versioning by client and environment across all ADS components, dependencies and release status.

Coordinate with Alpha Data Platform, SSCD and other stakeholders to manage the product roadmap, monitor product health and resolve delivery impediments, defects, risks and dependencies.

Ensure product and service documentation remains current whenever technology changes are designed, released or deployed. This includes ownership of coordinated updates to detailed service descriptions, operating handbooks, deployment runbooks and product newsletters.

Establish clear document owners, review controls, approval points and publication timelines so that technology changes and their operational impacts are accurately reflected before release and communicated to affected stakeholders.

Lead product roadmap and release communications, measure delivery progress and product outcomes, and anticipate, document, escalate and drive resolution of risks and issues.

Identify cross-product and cross-project interdependencies, sequencing constraints and resource conflicts, and develop practical solutions with accountable owners.

Support strategic planning and investment decisions through clear product health reporting, delivery forecasts, prioritisation recommendations and evidence-based status updates.

Engage senior management, key stakeholders, clients and vendors on product scope, delivery commitments, readiness, outcomes, risks and decisions.

Embed reusable product-development standards and delivery best practices into the core development process, driving consistency, quality and continuous improvement across ADS.

What we value

Required Experience :

Demonstrable experience leading end-to-end product build and delivery across business, technology, implementation and service functions.

Strong product-management discipline, including requirements definition, roadmap management, prioritisation, acceptance criteria, release planning and outcome measurement.

Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally at all organisational levels.

Ability to secure commitment and consensus through influence and negotiation, and to work collaboratively across teams toward shared product outcomes.

Strong ownership and decision-making skills, with clear accountability for delivery commitments, quality and outcomes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritisation and time-management capabilities.

Proven ability to govern product and operational documentation, ensuring release-driven updates are complete, approved, published and traceable.

Results-oriented, with a focus on product quality, delivery predictability, service readiness and stakeholder satisfaction.

Working knowledge of Jira, including workflows, dependency tracking and delivery reporting.

Strong understanding of software development, release management, deployment governance and operational-readiness practices.

Ability to manage multiple product delivery plans concurrently and prioritise features, tasks and interdependencies.
