Job Description:

TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.

With more than 6,900 professionals operating out of 32 cities across the globe, we help clients meet their needs today and prepare for tomorrow. Our services include underwriting and distributing new issues, providing trusted advice and industry-leading insight, extending access to global markets, and delivering integrated transaction banking solutions. In 2023, we acquired Cowen Inc., offering our clients access to a premier U.S. equities business and highly-diverse equity research franchise, while growing our strong, diversified investment bank.

We are growth-oriented, people-focused, and community-minded. As a team, we work to deliver value for our clients every day.

The Quantitative Engineering and Development (QED) team is a front-office quantitative technology and analytics group within TD Securities that supports the Global Equity Derivatives business. The team develops and enhances pricing models, risk analytics, trading tools, and automation solutions that enable efficient execution, risk management, and client service across a broad range of derivatives products. Working at the intersection of quantitative finance, software engineering, and capital markets, QED partners with trading, sales, structuring, and technology teams globally to deliver innovative solutions that advance the firm's analytical capabilities and support business growth.

Global Equity Derivatives (GED) is seeking a highly motivated Front Office Application Engineer to support, enhance, and develop technology solutions used by our trading, sales, and quantitative teams.

The role offers a unique opportunity to combine software engineering, user-focused application development, and exposure to global financial markets. While prior knowledge of derivatives products and quantitative models is beneficial, deep quantitative expertise is not required. Candidates will have the opportunity to learn these concepts through hands-on experience while working alongside experienced traders, quants, and developers.

A strong focus on user experience, application design, and full-stack development is essential. The successful candidate should enjoy building intuitive tools that users rely on every day and be motivated by solving real business problems through technology.
