Voicebox Karaoke is a private-suite karaoke experience built around great music, great drinks, and even better times. Our guests get their own private karaoke room to sing, celebrate, and let loose with their crew, backed by a full food and beverage experience. The Assistant General Manager oversees all aspects of store operations alongside the General Manager. This role supports the team, guest experience, financial performance, and day-to-day operations of the store.

And because this is Voicebox, you’ll also have the courage to sing a song with a party if asked — and a good basic knowledge of current and past popular songs certainly helps.

What You’ll Do

• •Participate in hiring and oversee on-the-job training to ensure employees are prepared, supported, and properly supervised.
• •Ensure all work shifts are appropriately staffed and employees are trained in their duties.
• •Support staff training, development, evaluations, scheduling, and motivational efforts.
• •Work with the General Manager on staff reviews and development.
• •Manage guest relations and provide excellent communication and service to Voicebox guests.
• •Exemplify and understand Voicebox’s core values.
• •Maintain appropriate food, beverage, and labor costs, as well as product and supply inventory levels.
• •Evaluate and analyze periodic financial reporting.
• •Collaborate with the management team to increase sales and revenue.
• •Follow standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and public health standards related to food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and alcohol service.
• •Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations regarding licensing and distribution of products.
• •Help ensure the store is properly maintained and all infrastructure is in top working order.
• •Ensure effective communication between management staff and personnel.
• •Act as Manager-On-Duty as appropriate.
• •Attend all higher-level management meetings.
• •Ensure efficient and effective operations within the company’s fiscal, operational, and people guidelines.

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually
