Job Description

  • Role purpose
  • The Associate Manager Logistics Excellence connects logistics teams across markets in Europe to improve performance, strengthen ways of working, and accelerate cross-market collaboration. The role creates visibility on performance, brings markets together to share pains, gains, and best practices, and drives improvement initiatives that raise logistics capability across the region.

This role also owns key cross-functional relationships and strategic topics, including management of the pallet consultancy partnership, advancement of the sustainability agenda, and delivery of more complex cross-market projects. In addition, the role drives Logos for Logistics and helps ensure strong alignment between local market needs and broader European logistics priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly Logistics United forum, creating a strong routine to review performance, share pains and gains, and exchange best practices across European markets
  • Connect logistics teams across markets in Europe, building collaboration, consistency, and shared problem solving
  • Identify improvement opportunities across markets and translate them into structured actions and projects
  • Lead cross-market and more complex logistics projects from opportunity identification through execution and follow-up
  • Drive the regional sustainability agenda within logistics, helping turn ambition into practical actions and measurable progress
  • Manage the relationship with the pallet consultancy , ensuring effective partnership, clear priorities, and value delivery
  • Drive Logos for Logistics , ensuring strong coordination, engagement, and follow-through
  • Track logistics performance themes and surface key risks, opportunities, and recurring issues to the right stakeholders
  • Support the sharing and scaling of best practices across markets to improve efficiency, service, and ways of working
  • Work closely with market logistics teams and other stakeholders to align on priorities and maintain momentum on key initiatives

Profile / experience

  • 3-4 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operational excellence roles
  • Strong logistics BU experience with a solid understanding of market-level logistics realities
  • Experience working across functions, teams, and geographies in a matrix environment
  • Ability to lead forums and discussions that create alignment, ownership, and action
  • Experience driving improvement initiatives or projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Structured and pragmatic way of working, with the ability to connect detail to the bigger picture
  • Comfortable balancing performance management, relationship management, and project delivery
  • Interest in sustainability and continuous improvement within logistics
