Automated Test Engineer

Mission Focus: As a Automated Test Engineer on our solutions delivery team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on innovative projects advancing the digital transformation of critical government systems with true mission impact.

Clearance : Minimum secret clearance required, TS/SCI w/ Poly desired

Location/Flexibility: Vienna, VA with some days in Chantilly, VA; remote flexibility available

Responsibilities:

Update and maintain the implemented test automation suite.

Work collaboratively with development teams to develop and maintain new test automation scripts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to include development, DevSecOps, and operations teams.

Identify, analyze, and document problems with the solution’s function, output, or content.

Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

Document software defects using JIRA bug tracking system and report defects to the development teams and Scrum Master.

Research, develop, install, and configure tools to improve testing and quality efforts.

Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance.

3-8 years’ relevant experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.

Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.

Prior working experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End to End Testing, System Acceptance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.

Experience with GitHub, Python, and TypeScript.

Experience developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, recording results, and working with developers to identify and resolve issues.

Proficiency coding an automated framework and working with open-source automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Jasmine, Karma).

Python or TypeScript skills, basic knowledge of databases and related scripting/programming.

Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team building.

Must have good practical testing skills and an understanding of QA and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.

Experience working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities.

Experience with Cloud environments, specifically AWS.

Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.

Experience using Microsoft Playwright.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.

The pay range listed for this position reflects the wage or salary range NT Concepts expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a successful candidate within this range will be based on legitimate, job-related factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate's work location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Virginia Pay Range

$96,600 — $144,900 USD
