Job Description Summary
The Benefits Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the company's employee benefits and leave of absence programs. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee benefit and leave-related inquiries and supports benefit transactions, enrollment activities, life event changes, leave administration, billing support, and employee communications.

What You’ll Do
As the Benefits Coordinator you will:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
- Educate employees on benefit programs, enrollment procedures, and required documentation.
- Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Administer employee life event changes.
- Support annual Open Enrollment activities.
- Assist with vendor billing reconciliation and eligibility issues.
- Maintain benefit records and support compliance reporting.
- Assist with administration of FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, parental leave, and personal leave programs.
- Support special projects and process improvements.

You might be just who we’re looking for if you have…
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of HR, benefits, payroll, or employee services experience.
- Workday experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.
Essential Functions:

- Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
- Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
- Comply with company policies and procedure
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
