  • Represent the claims sector on various corporate committees, including the Dispute Resolution Committee, Standards Committee, and decision-making committees, while ensuring that the required information is complete;
  • Take ownership of audit recommendations, determine the required actions, and oversee their implementation in collaboration with the appropriate teams;
  • Advise management on the sector’s direction and contribute to the evolution of insurance forms, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Serve as a resource for litigation matters, handle certain complaint files, and support the management of exceptional situations or catastrophes, including the required documentation and reporting.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a college diploma and a claims adjuster licence; a relevant university degree is considered an asset;
  • Has 15 years of experience in claims roles, including at least 10 years as a claims adjuster;
  • Has in-depth technical knowledge of insurance forms, current claims practices, and key claims-related issues;
  • Demonstrates varied experience in personal property and casualty insurance, ideally in compliance, professional ethics, risk management, or projects related to these areas;
  • Stands out for their ability to influence, collaborate with various managers, and support the technical development of teams without direct people-management responsibilities;
  • Has experience as a field adjuster handling major losses or in people management, which is considered a significant asset;
  • Is available occasionally outside regular working hours to respond to emergencies, natural or climate-related catastrophes, and periods of increased workload;
  • Has an advanced level of French proficiency.

Why you’ll love working with us

  • A work environment where learning and development merge with a collective pursuit of excellence;
  • AI is in everyone’s hands, empowering you to increase your personal effectiveness while supporting the organization’s growth;
  • A healthy, safe, fair, and inclusive environment where potential can be freely expressed and developed;
