Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for utilizing a diverse set of cloud technologies to support Centric Cloud Customers, and to help build and maintain a scalable, robust, highly available platform for Centric’s C8 cloud application.

This position will report to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations.

Responsibilities:

• •Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud
• •Perform customer deployments, migrations and upgrades in the cloud environment
• •Support automation projects including writing coding
• •Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage servers in multiple cloud environments
• •Create, manage, and maintain Cloud networking components
• •Perform backups and restores of database and servers
• •Assist in ensuring security processes are followed and customer data is secured
• •Perform other administrative tasks in cloud environments as directed.
• •Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues
• •Build effective working relationships with cross-functional team member
• •Make suggestions for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience
• •5+ years working with Public Cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• •Advanced Linux or Open Source knowledge
• •Expert in Containerization ie Kubernetes
• •Solid understanding of cloud networking and security
• •Infrastructure and Configuration as Code methodologies
• •Detailed knowledge Microservices and DevOps
• •3+ years in incident response and major incident management
• •Experience with the following technologies: Docker, Rancher, Virtualization, VPN, Kafka, RDP
• •Advanced Linux and Windows experience
• •Experience with the following is highly desirable: Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL.
