At Maersk Air Cargo, aviation expertise comes together with the scale and ambition of Maersk’s global logistics network. Our air cargo operations play an important role in connecting customers and supply chains across the world, supported by a strong commitment to safety, airworthiness, compliance and continuous improvement. As we continue to develop our organisation and strengthen our regulatory oversight, we are looking for a Compliance Monitoring Engineer – CAMO to play a key role in the compliance oversight of our CAMO activities in Copenhagen.

About the role

Take a central role in shaping and strengthening compliance monitoring across our CAMO activities, working closely with CAMO management, process owners and key stakeholders.

Alongside owning the compliance monitoring and audit cycle, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your regulatory expertise beyond CAMO into Part-IS and Ground Operations, with the potential to develop towards Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct and document CAMO audits and inspections in line with the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Own and maintain the CAMO audit programme, ensuring appropriate coverage of regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, including EU Regulation 1321/2014, Part-M and Part-CAMO, and translate changes into compliance monitoring activities.
  • Identify and report findings, concerns and observations, and oversee corrective actions through to effective closure.
  • Review CAMO manuals, procedures, contracts and technical documentation from a compliance perspective.
  • Support authority, customer, supplier and partner audits, as well as relevant compliance investigations and Safety Management activities.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the wider Compliance Monitoring function, with opportunities to support Part-IS, Ground Operations and Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager activities

We are looking for a colleague who ...

  • Has strong knowledge of EU Regulation 1321/2014, particularly Part-M and Part-CAMO.
  • Brings experience from CAMO, continuing airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, aviation compliance or a similar technical aviation environment.
  • Understands independent compliance monitoring, auditing and risk-based oversight.
  • Can interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical compliance and audit activities.
  • Is analytical, structured and confident communicating findings, while constructively challenging existing processes when needed.
  • Is proactive, collaborative and keen to develop expertise across broader regulatory areas such as Part-IS and Ground Operations.
  • Ready to take the next step?
  • If you’re passionate about aviation compliance and want to take real ownership within a growing Compliance Monitoring function, we’d love to hear from you. Join Maersk Air Cargo and build on your CAMO expertise while expanding into new regulatory areas and broader responsibilities. Apply today and help shape the future of compliance at Maersk Air Cargo.
