Deputy, Coding

Experience Required:

• •Strong experience in Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding
• •Expertise in Surgery coding across multiple specialties
• •Hands-on experience with Emergency Department (ED) coding
• •Knowledge of Multispecialty professional coding
• •Typically 8+ years of medical coding experience with team leadership exposure

Key Responsibilities:

• •Manage and mentor coding teams handling E/M, Surgery, ED, and Multispecialty accounts.
• •Ensure coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payer guidelines.
• •Conduct quality audits and provide feedback to coders.
• •Analyze coding trends, denials, and revenue cycle impacts.
• •Support client communications and operational reviews.
• •Implement process improvements and training initiatives.
• •Monitor KPIs, SLA adherence, and quality metrics.
• •Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• •CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding certification.
• •Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.
• •Experience leading teams, conducting audits, and managing performance.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• •Ability to handle multiple specialties and complex coding scenarios.
