Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Digital High Speed Operator, Sr to join our Union, NJ team. In this role, you will operate high-speed digital print and bindery equipment while supporting a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, quality-focused customer print jobs while maintaining productivity, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting finishing operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer commitments are met through efficient print production, bindery processing, mailing preparation, and workflow coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

• •Set up and operate multiple digital print production machines and execute print runs according to production schedules.
• •Download documents and graphic images from network and electronic sources and prepare files for production.
• •Verify job specifications, paper stocks, and production requirements prior to printing.
• •Monitor print quality throughout production, perform quality checks, and complete required production documentation.
• •Troubleshoot print production issues and work independently to resolve routine operational concerns.
• •Operate bindery, finishing, folding, and perfect binding equipment as production needs require.
• •Train and assist other operators while supporting a collaborative production environment.
• •Coordinate workflow with production, finishing, mailing, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure on-time job completion.

About You:

• •High School Diploma or GED required.
• •3-5 years of digital print production experience in a commercial print, transactional print, direct mail, or manufacturing environment.
• •Experience operating high-speed digital print equipment in a production setting.
• •Strong bindery and finishing experience, including folding, binding, or related post-print operations.
• •Knowledge of color correction, color calibration, print quality inspection, and color management processes.
• •Understanding of paper stocks, print specifications, and production workflow requirements.
• •Experience with continuous feed inkjet, cut-sheet inkjet, Horizon finishing equipment, or perfect binder equipment preferred.
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain quality standards, and support operator training and mentoring activities.
