In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You'll Do

You are a strategic IT partner with deep technical experience supporting BridgeBio's International organization across Commercial and Medical Affairs, G&A, and Supply Chain functions. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports: BridgeBio's operating model delivers International IT work through external vendors and consultants, and this role provides both the strategic direction and the hands-on technical expertise needed to design, direct, and validate that work. You report to the Executive Director, IT Enterprise Applications in the US, and partner closely with International business leaders and US-based IT counterparts.

You will own the International application and technology roadmap and business relationship, for Commercial and Medical Affairs systems including Veeva CRM, Databricks, and Analytics, while ensuring alignment with enterprise owned platforms managed by US teams. For core enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Malbek CLM, and Workday HRIS, you will act as the International liaison, ensuring local business needs, regulatory requirements, and market nuances are represented in both strategy and system design. You will direct and technically oversee the consultants and partners who execute this work.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary strategic IT partner to International business leadership, aligning technology strategy with business priorities, operational objectives, and long-term growth plans

Shape and execute a multi-year technology roadmap for BridgeBio International, applying hands-on familiarity with Veeva CRM and data/analytics platforms (Databricks) to evaluate technical design decisions and identify digital transformation opportunities through data, automation, AI, and enterprise technologies

Own end-to-end demand management, prioritization, and delivery of International IT initiatives, including business case development and investment prioritization, ensuring alignment with business strategy and cross-platform standards, and monitoring performance through KPIs and value realization metrics

Own the technical design for International's Commercial and Medical Affairs applications, translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs that external partners and consultants can execute against

Act as the International technical liaison for globally owned core systems (SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Malbek CLM, Workday HRIS), partnering with US-based application owners on integration points, data flows, and localization requirements

Partner closely with US-based Enterprise Applications, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, Security, and End User Services teams, aligning on platform governance, technical standards, and roadmap decisions for shared systems like Veeva CRM and Databricks

Direct and technically oversee external partners and consultants delivering International IT initiatives, since delivery capacity comes entirely through partners rather than an internal team: reviewing solution design, validating data integration approach and platform configuration, and holding vendors accountable to technical standards, timelines, and quality

Build trusted relationships across International business leadership and key stakeholders, acting as the primary advisor on technology strategy and digital innovation

Support platform expansion initiatives and pre- and post-product launch activities in key International markets, ensuring technology readiness, successful IT integration, and business continuity throughout the launch lifecycle

Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement across International applications, and propose pragmatic, business-aligned solutions

Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, SOX, GxP, regulatory, and data integrity requirements while supporting audits and platform governance activities

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role based in BridgeBio's Zug, Switzerland office, with an in-office collaboration cadence of 3 days per week

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; advanced degrees preferred

8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including 5+ years in a hands-on technical architecture, solutions engineering, or senior IT management role supporting regional or international operations, with a successful track record supporting pre- and post-product launch activities in key International markets

Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders to define technology strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes, combined with deep, hands-on technical experience designing or architecting CRM platforms such as Veeva, and data management/analytics platforms such as Databricks

Strong understanding of Commercial and Medical Affairs IT, enterprise platforms, digital products, automation, data, AI, ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Workday) sufficient to define integration and data requirements with US-based system owners

Experience leading complex technology portfolios and cross-functional programs within matrixed organizations, including experience directing the work of external vendors and consultants without a dedicated internal engineering team

Strong knowledge of regulated industries such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology, including GxP, SOX, and data integrity requirements as they apply to system architecture

Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive strategic decisions without direct authority, backed by excellent communication, consulting, and executive presentation skills that translate complex technology topics into business value

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with experience evaluating technical trade-offs and building business cases for technology investments

Demonstrated experience managing vendors and consultants, including oversight of deliverables, timelines, and quality
