Summary of Position:

Scholar Rock is seeking a senior medical affairs professional to advance muscle-targeted treatments for spinal muscular atrophy and other rare neuromuscular diseases. The role combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and will be a critical role in the EMEA organization to deliver on key medical priorities such as scientific engagement plans, regional evidence generation initiatives, among others

The successful candidate will engage the SMA and FSHD community to address specific needs, establish and solidify trust and evolve knowledge and care. They will act as key partner working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across geographies, leasing with global functions and supporting EMEA affiliates.

The ideal candidate combines deep rare disease expertise with a strong track record of leading high-impact medical initiatives and engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. They bring experience at both country and regional EMEA level and are comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial biotech environment .
