Das ist die Aufgabe

  • In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Produkt-, Plattform- und App-Teams gestaltest du die nächste Generation der Gerätesteuerungssoftware für vernetzte Kaffeevollautomaten und Dunstabzugshauben
  • Du definierst Architekturprinzipien, Standards und Governance-Strukturen, damit Software über Produktgenerationen hinweg skalierbar und wiederverwendbar bleibt
  • Von der Konzeption bis zur Integration der serienreifen Haushaltsgeräte, bringst du deine Expertise in die Entwicklung moderner Embedded-Software ein
  • Architektur-Reviews helfen dir dabei, technische Risiken früh sichtbar zu machen und Entwicklungsteams bei komplexen Entscheidungen zu unterstützen
  • Gemeinsam mit internationalen Teams in Gütersloh und Brașov entwickelst du modulare Softwareplattformen für das Miele Smart Home Ökosystem weiter

Das überzeugt uns

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Software Architect (m/w/d), Principal Engineer (m/w/d) oder Lead Developer (m/w/d) im Embedded- oder Systemumfeld bringt dir die nötige Sicherheit für komplexe Architekturentscheidungen
  • Skalierbare und modulare Softwareplattformen hast du bereits aufgebaut und dabei technische Qualität mit langfristiger Wiederverwendbarkeit verbunden
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in C/C++ sowie praktische Erfahrung mit Embedded-Systemen wie Bare Metal oder Linux gehören zu deinem Alltag
  • Modellbasierte Entwicklung, Software-Qualitätssicherung und Architekturmethoden setzt du pragmatisch ein, statt sie nur theoretisch zu kennen
  • In internationalen Entwicklungsteams gibst du fachliche Orientierung, coachst andere Engineers (m/w/d) und bringst unterschiedliche Interessen zusammen
