Field Sales Manager Romania (Vision Care) - Eye Care

As a Field Sales Manager Romania supporting our Vision Care commercial organization , you will be trusted to drive commercial excellence and ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives across Romania. In this role, you will play a key part in translating Alcon's European Vision Care strategy into effective local execution while providing ongoing support, coaching, and performance oversight to the field team.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• •Implementing Alcon's European Vision Care marketing and commercial strategy across the Romanian market
• •Providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and operational support to a team of four Business Development Managers to maximize customer engagement and commercial effectiveness
• •Monitoring territory coverage, customer visit frequency, activity planning, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution of business objectives
• •Partnering closely with Key Account Management, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities and support business growth
• •Tracking field performance metrics and developing action plans to improve productivity, customer coverage, and execution excellence

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON

• •Higher education degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record in sales, commercial operations, healthcare, medical devices, or related industries
• •Several years of experience in medical devices, ophthalmology, vision care, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales
• •Experience coaching, supporting, or coordinating field-based commercial teams
• •Strong understanding of sales execution, territory management, and customer engagement strategies
• •Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• •Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
• •Fluent Romanian and very good English language skills
• •Willingness to travel regularly throughout Romania
