As Finance Manager for Open Internet and Ad Tech Finance within Amazon Ads EU Sales Finance, you will shape the financial direction of a growing digital advertising business across the EU. You will own end-to-end revenue forecasting, performance analysis, and target setting - partnering with Sales, Ad Tech, and Leadership teams to surface opportunities, quantify risks, and drive accountability on growth initiatives. Beyond the numbers, you will design self-serve reporting infrastructure and AI-enhanced tools that put insights directly into the hands of decision-makers, removing bottlenecks and scaling the way finance supports the business. This is a role where analytical rigor meets strategic influence - you will be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear actions that accelerate revenue growth.
- Key job responsibilities
- - Own for EU Open Internet business the end-to-end revenue forecasting and the weekly, monthly and quarterly review cadence.
- - Track opportunities and risks at market level, proactively flagging concerns, quantifying revenue opportunities and recommending actions to Sales leadership.
- - Partner with the Ad Tech team on growth initiatives to drive adoption and accelerate revenue.
- - Own the financial framework for initiatives - track performance, identify optimisation levers and drive cross-team accountability on execution.
- - Design self-serve reporting infrastructure - dashboards (QuickSight, Tableau), automated data pipelines, and AI-enhanced tools that enable Sales and Leadership to access insights without finance bottlenecking.
- - Author and distribute regular strategic priority newsletters to Leadership - providing concise updates on in-flight initiatives, emerging risks, key decisions needed, and progress against goals.
Basic qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
- - Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- - Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- - Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
Preferred qualifications
- - Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
- - Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- - Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
- - Experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business
