Join us to lead transformational change in how Amazon manages global foreign exchange and Treasury accounting. You'll drive end-to-end program delivery for critical accounting system implementations, partnering across finance, accounting, and technical teams to build scalable solutions that enhance reporting accuracy and automation across our worldwide operations.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Lead program delivery for third-party system implementations supporting foreign exchange and Treasury accounting, managing end-to-end coordination from requirements definition through go-live and post-implementation support
  • Partner with accounting operations, financial systems teams, and external vendors to document accounting requirements, design processes, and ensure system configurations accurately reflect foreign currency revaluation, monetary account classification, and financial instrument accounting treatments
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing cycles and journal entry mapping reviews, working with accounting teams to validate that system functionality meets business needs and accounting standards
  • Manage foreign exchange accounting considerations across multi-entity structures and support general ledger account governance initiatives to ensure consistency and accuracy across global business entities
  • Develop and deliver cross-functional training materials and awareness programs to enable accounting teams to effectively use new systems and processes
  • A day in the life
  • In this role, you'll focus on delivering our foreign exchange and Treasury accounting transformation initiatives. You might start your day reviewing requirements documentation with our accounting operations team, then transition into coordinating with our global financial systems group to ensure system configurations accurately reflect accounting treatments for foreign currency revaluation and financial instruments. You'll facilitate user acceptance testing cycles, collaborate with external vendors on implementation timelines, and work through complex multi-entity accounting structures. Throughout the week, you'll partner with Treasury, Tax, and FinTech teams to align on priorities, troubleshoot challenges, and communicate progress to senior leadership. Your work bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our teams have the tools and processes they need to succeed.
