The Financial Transformation and Client Integration Manager leads two key areas: driving digital transformation initiatives to optimize financial processes and managing the seamless integration of new clients into our outsourced financial management services platform.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Transformation Leadership
- Evaluate existing client financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and digital transformation
- Design and implement innovative solutions leveraging the RKL Virtual tech stack, including cloud-based financial management solutions, smart AP/AR solutions, data integration tools and other cloud-based technology
- Develop standardized procedures and best practices for financial management operations that can be scaled across multiple clients
- Lead process reengineering initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual interventions
- Monitor and report on transformation initiatives' effectiveness and ROI
New Client Integration
- Manage multiple end-to-end client integration projects simultaneously, from initial engagement through transition to ongoing services
- Conduct thorough assessment of new clients' existing financial processes, systems, and documentation
- Create detailed project plans for client integrations, including timeline, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper setup of client accounts, systems access, and workflow configurations
- Develop and maintain client-specific procedures and documentation
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure all internal teams understand the client's operational requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the internal integration team, ensuring adherence to the integration schedule.
- Provide training to both client and internal team members on new processes and systems
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor team members involved in transformation and onboarding projects
- Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the transformation and onboarding process
- Collaborate with Practice Leaders to align transformation initiatives with strategic objectives
- Regular reporting to senior management on project status, challenges, and achievements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, with at least 3 years in process improvement or transformation roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proven experience in implementing digital transformation initiatives
- Expert level proficiency in accounting software platforms (QBO, Sage Intacct, Xero, etc.)
- Strong understanding of financial automation tools and RPA platforms
- Experience with workflow management and documentation systems
- Knowledge of API integrations and system connectivity
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated success in managing complex transitions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $100,000
