Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Amphibious Warfare Program Office of DPAE EXPEDITIONARY AND MINE WARFARE.

Duties

  • You will develop guidance to interpret and implement financial strategies and policies across a wide range of acquisition programs.
  • You will prepare financial documentation to support acquisition and life cycle planning and strategy development.
  • You will manage and direct financial tasking across all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) activities involving appropriations.
  • You will provide analysis, verification, and justification of budget or acquisition data.
  • You will ensure data traceability and consistency with program budget and acquisition history.
  • You will formulate, plan, develop, implement and continuously evaluate and refine policies, programs, and activities associated with financial acquisition planning for assigned programs.
  • You will brief leadership on execution and budget status throughout the year.
  • You will formulate yearly program budget requirements to identify labor, contract/procurement and other project costs within an overall program financial requirements plan.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge of Department of War (DoW) Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process and with financial management rules and regulations, appropriation laws, budget formulation and execution for multiple appropriations.
