This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive technician to advance their career with a company that has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for multiple years.As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of vehicle systems while delivering high-quality workmanship in an efficient manner. Successful candidates will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• •Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards
• •Inspect, diagnose, and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical systems
• •Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
• •Perform factory-recommended maintenance services and vehicle inspections
• •Accurately document repair orders, findings, and completed work
• •Communicate repair needs and recommendations with service advisors and management
• •Maintain productivity and efficiency while ensuring quality workmanship
• •Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures
• •Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• •Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology and manufacturer requirements

Requirements

• •Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• •Previous automotive technician experience required
• •Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
• •ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• •Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• •Ability to operate diagnostic tools, scan tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• •Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment
• •Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• •Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• •Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
• •Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair
