About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, adaptable Floating Part-Time Teacher to support classrooms throughout the school. You’ll help maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment while providing coverage where it’s needed most. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with different age groups, collaborating with a team, and adapting to changing daily needs.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom coverage and support across the school as needed.

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and routines.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Build warm, respectful relationships with children and support their social and emotional development.

Follow classroom schedules, school policies, and health and safety procedures.

Communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate.

Assist with transitions, meals, rest periods, and other daily routines.

Qualifications

Enjoyment of working with young children and supporting their learning and development.

Dependability, flexibility, and a collaborative attitude.

Strong communication and classroom-support skills.

Ability to adapt to different classrooms and age groups.

Early childhood education experience or relevant credentials are a plus; required qualifications may vary by location.
