THE JOB:

As a Food Runner at Grand Wok inside MGM Grand , you will play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience by delivering authentic, wok-fired cuisine with speed, precision, and genuine hospitality. You will bring energy and excitement to the dining room, presenting each dish with confidence while sharing your knowledge of our culinary offerings. Through attentive service, enthusiasm, and a passion for guest satisfaction, you will help create memorable experiences that reflect the vibrant spirit and high standards of MGM Grand.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.48 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
• •Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
• •Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
• •Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
• •Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
• •Perform assigned open and closing side-work
• •Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen , inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• •Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •Must be 18+ years of age
• •Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• •6+ Months of previous experience as a Food Runner or Server in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
• •Experience working in a similar resort setting
