Job Description

Job Description

What you'll do

Lead financial planning cycles for Total Gas Power Inventory (>$7B) — month-end close, estimates, budgeting, and LRF — providing analysis on performance, valuation, and working capital as a strategic finance partner to the IBP Team, MMO, and Global Supply Chain function.

Own financial analysis for approximately $6B of Factory COGS, with a focus on Capital Parts budget adherence, cost drivers, and risk/opportunity identification across the global manufacturing network.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior and junior finance professionals, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Services and New Units Finance and Fulfillment teams to align financial plans with supply-chain requirements, demand, and fulfillment objectives.

Drive the SIOP/IBP financial operating rhythm, working with the Global Inventory Team to ensure supply, capacity, and inventory decisions are incorporated into business plans.

Translate operational and financial data into actionable insights for Finance, Supply Chain, MMO, and leadership, identifying opportunities to improve inventory planning accuracy.

Champion digital and Lean transformation initiatives, leveraging automation and process improvements to boost efficiency and scalability.

Monitor financial and operational KPIs — inventory DIOs/turns, budget attainment, working capital, and forecast accuracy — to track performance.

Partner with controllership and cash teams to ensure accurate reporting, accounting treatment, and compliance with internal controls and policies.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Significant experience in FP&A, supply-chain finance, manufacturing finance, or inventory finance, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; MBA/CPA a plus. Graduate of FMP, CAS, or OFLP is a plus.

Proven experience leading or managing teams — including senior and junior professionals — with a track record of coaching and developing talent.

Cross-functional partnering experience with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, MMO, Manufacturing, or Fulfillment teams, and a strong grasp of inventory, COGS, and working capital.

Strong analytical, forecasting, and modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into recommendations across budgeting and long-range forecasting.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP/financial systems; experience with SAP, Hyperion/HFM, or Tableau is preferred.

Process-oriented mindset with interest in automation and Lean methodologies, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

What will make you stand out

Experience in SIOP, IBP, or supply-chain planning, with a strong grasp of how demand, supply, and COGS drive financial performance.

Proven ability as a strategic finance partner — managing large-scale inventory and cost bases, and influencing decisions through data.

Track record leading cross-functional projects, process transformations, or Lean/automation initiatives.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for senior leadership.

Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results.

Experience in Gas Power, industrial manufacturing, or energy is a plus.

Role focus

This position sits at the intersection of Finance, MMO, and Integrated Business Planning, along with the broader Global Supply Chain function. The SIOP Finance Leader connects operational decisions with their financial impact, helping leadership optimize inventory, COGS, and working capital. This role also carries people-leadership responsibility for a team of senior and junior finance professionals. It combines FP&A, business partnering, financial analysis, and digital transformation to drive better operational decisions.
