General Laborer

Description

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Prepare jobsites for landscape and construction projects
• •Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, decks & other projects
• •Dig trenches, perform land clearing and prepare landscape areas
• •Plant and maintain lawns and garden beds
• •Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment
• •Safely operate hand and power tools
• •Perform basic daily equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance
• •Assist Crew Leaders with daily project needs
• •Read and follow basic plans, measurements and project specifications
• •Maintain a clean and safe jobsite

Qualifications:

• •Valid driver’s license
• •Landscaping or construction experience is a plus
• •Willing and able to learn new tools, equipment and skills
• •Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
• •Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• •Dependable with good communication and time-management skills
• •Able to work independently and as part of a team
• •Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Working Conditions:

Fast paced environment, outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold. Some weekends may be required.
