General Ledger Controller

Warsaw, Poland - hybrid

GL Controller reports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period-end closing activities in a timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards, and local requirements

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:

• •Perform reconciliations, postings, and month-end activities in line with internal standards.
• •Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes
• •Support external and internal auditors by providing required documentation and explanations
• •Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively contribute to process excellence initiatives
• •Prepare various reports and analysis as requested by senior management
• •Handle ad-hoc operational and administrative queries.

Preferred Qualifications

• •University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar
• •At least 2+ years of experience within SSC environment in a related process area and/or accounting (preferably in General Ledger or A2R area)
• •Knowledge of ERP systems
• •Very good level of written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
• •Strong willingness to learn and develop.
