What if your next two years put you in the room with the executives helping shape LexisNexis's future, while building the AI and business leadership skills to make a meaningful impact?

If you're motivated to lead, collaborate, and drive business results, the General Management Associate role may be the right opportunity for you.

This is where the next generation of LexisNexis Leadership begins. Apply today!

About our Team

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide, is part of RELX (www.relx.com), a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today’s top model creators for each individual legal use case. The company employs over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts to develop, test, and validate solutions in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles ( https://stories.relx.com/responsible-ai-principles/index.html ).

About the Program

Join the inaugural cohort of the LexisNexis Legal & Professional General Management Leadership Development Program (GMLDP), the company's primary development program for future General Managers, Business Unit Leaders, Operational Leaders, and Strategy Leaders.

As part of the inaugural cohort of General Management Associates, you'll work directly with senior executives on go-to-market strategy, growth initiatives, M&A opportunities, AI-driven business challenges, and other priorities influencing the future of the business. The goal isn't to observe leaders at work. It's to build the breadth of experience needed to become one. This structured two-year program features three rotational assignments designed to help you grow through meaningful business challenges while developing the leadership capabilities and business acumen needed for future leadership roles. Rotational areas include:

Commercial Sales

Marketing

Product

Technology / AI

Strategy

Finance

Global Operations

Corporate Development

Legal

Human Resources

Why Join?

  • Most leadership programs teach you how a business works. This one puts you inside the decisions that shape it.
  • A structured two-year career path designed to develop future enterprise leaders into General Manager, Business Unit Leader, and P&L Owner roles, not a rotational program without a destination.

Meaningful access to senior leaders through executive mentorship, sponsorship, feedback, and career development support from day one. Gaining exposure to leaders whose roles you could one day hold yourself.

  • Opportunities to apply AI and data-driven approaches to solve important business challenges.
  • Three rotations across key business functions such as Product, Strategy, Technology/AI, Commercial Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Corporate Development, Legal, or HR, building the broad business perspective great general managers need.
  • For someone interested in building toward enterprise leadership, this is a rare opportunity to accelerate that journey while helping shape a program designed to develop LexisNexis' next generation of business leaders.

Mentoring and Professional Development

We invest in our people because leadership development is critical to our future success. As a General Management Associate, you'll be paired with a C-suite mentor and sponsor and supported by a dedicated HR Leadership Partner (HRLP). Throughout the program, you'll receive structured feedback, leadership coaching, and professional development opportunities.

You'll participate in executive roundtables, CEO sessions, leadership discussions, networking events, formal learning experiences, and on-the-job development opportunities designed to help you grow your business and leadership capabilities.

  • Work Style Requirements: This is a hybrid role, with associates expected to work from a dedicated LexisNexis office 2 to 3 days per week. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.
  • Dedicated Office Locations : Raleigh, North Carolina, Dayton, Ohio, and New York City, New York
  • Proposed Start Date: Spring 2027
  • Application Deadline: October 31, 2026
  • Graduation Requirements : Candidates should have completed their professional degree studies in 2025 or 2026, or expect to complete them between August 2026 and May 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders across rotations to address priority business opportunities and challenges.
  • Help shape projects by defining objectives, developing plans, and taking responsibility for deliverables.
  • Apply AI tools, business frameworks, and data-driven analysis to evaluate opportunities, quantify impact, and support execution.
  • Build relationships across the organization by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Present insights and recommendations to business leaders and help build alignment for implementation.
  • Support business leaders as they translate recommendations into action.
  • Conclude the program with a Capstone Innovation Project presented to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates for the General Management Associate position must be on track to obtain, or already hold, a professional degree (MBA, JD, PhD, or MD) before the program start date.
  • A foundation in Finance, Strategy, Digital Marketing, Commercial Sales, Legal, Human Resources, or a related business discipline.
  • 2 to 5+ years of professional experience prior to graduation.
  • Experience in a business-to-business technology, professional services, consulting, or related environment.
