Job Description
As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a General Manager Portfolio & Analytics to establish and lead a sophisticated portfolio analytics, valuation and market risk capability that becomes the foundation for decision making across the organisation.
This is a rare opportunity to create something from the ground up.
You will own the market view, define the risk framework, lead portfolio analytics, oversee valuation methodologies, and provide the evidence base that informs major decisions on hedging, offtake, acquisitions, developments and investment strategy. You will be the trusted expert presenting insights and recommendations to executives, boards, counterparties and senior stakeholders in Australia and Spain.
What you'll be doing
- Defining the market view that underpins pricing, valuation and investment decisions.
- Building a best-practice portfolio analytics and risk management function.
- Leading forecasting, valuation and scenario modelling across our renewable energy portfolio.
- Providing trusted advice on offtake, hedging, acquisitions and new development opportunities.
- Influencing executive and Board decisions through clear, evidence-based insights.
- Developing the tools, systems and capability needed to support a growing business.
Required Skills and Competencies
You'll bring deep expertise in energy markets, portfolio analytics, trading or risk management, together with the credibility to engage confidently with technical experts, commercial teams and senior executives alike.
You are comfortable challenging assumptions, translating complex analysis into business decisions, and building frameworks that help organisations better understand and manage risk.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical capability at one of the world's leading renewable energy companies.
You'll have the platform to influence strategy, shape investment decisions, build a high-performing analytics function and play a key role in Australia's energy transition.
If you're excited by the challenge of turning data, markets and risk into better business decisions, we'd love to hear from you.
As a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis. We invite everyone to apply regardless of origin, circumstances, background or condition.
