As a Classroom Aide , you'll be an important part of a Head Start classroom, helping create a warm, safe and engaging environment where young children can play, explore, learn and grow .

You'll work alongside experienced early childhood professionals while building your own skills and experience. Every day brings opportunities to encourage a child, celebrate a milestone, lend a helping hand and be part of something that truly matters.

What You'll Do

• •Build positive, caring relationships with young children and families.
• •Engage children in play, learning activities and everyday classroom experiences.
• •Help create a safe, welcoming classroom where children feel comfortable exploring and trying new things.
• •Support teachers with classroom activities, routines and transitions.
• •Help maintain an attractive, organized and engaging learning environment.
• •Encourage children's social, emotional, creative and developmental growth.
• •Work as part of a supportive classroom team.
• •Follow all applicable childcare regulations and Head Start requirements.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• •Have an interest in early childhood development and learning.

• •Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
• •Meet the basic requirements of Ohio's child care regulatory agency.

Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED

• Location: Head Start classrooms throughout Clermont County
• Hours: You'll need to be available between 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Pay: $15.35/hour
