At Nuffield Health, we're Britain's largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation, committed to building a healthier nation. We're looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused Healthcare Account Manager to join our team at Bristol Hospital and play a key role in driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and raising the profile of one of the South West's leading private hospitals.
This is not a traditional marketing role. It's an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and making a visible impact within the local healthcare community.
About the Role
As Healthcare Account Manager, you'll be responsible for increasing the hospital's visibility, reputation, and patient activity across Bristol and the surrounding region. Acting as a key ambassador for the hospital, you'll work closely with consultants, GPs, businesses, community groups, and healthcare professionals to develop meaningful partnerships and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver local growth initiatives that support patient activity and consultant practice development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GP practices, healthcare professionals, businesses, and community organisations.
- Identify and secure new partnership opportunities that support hospital growth.
- Represent the hospital at networking events, exhibitions, wellbeing initiatives, and community events.
- Organise consultant events, educational evenings, and CPD programmes for healthcare professionals.
- Support consultants in raising their profile and enhancing patient engagement.
- Manage local social media activity and create engaging content showcasing consultants, services, and patient stories.
- Coordinate local marketing campaigns, PR opportunities, advertorials, and promotional activities.
- Champion Google Reviews and patient feedback initiatives to strengthen the hospital's reputation.
- Support internal communications and colleague engagement activities.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure patient experience remains at the centre of all initiatives.
- Monitor performance and engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement.
About You
You'll be energetic, proactive, and passionate about building relationships and delivering results. Whether you're meeting consultants, visiting GP practices, organising events, or creating engaging content, you'll thrive in a varied and highly visible role.
You'll Have:
- Experience in marketing, account management, business development, healthcare engagement, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience organising events and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Strong social media, digital marketing, and content creation skills.
- Commercial awareness and a growth-focused mindset.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- A creative, enthusiastic, and solution-focused approach.
