THE ROLE
For our manufacturing plant in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), employing more than 800 people, we are looking for an HR People Partner to join us on a fixed-term contract for maternity leave replacement.
The People Partner will support the business locally by partnering with managers and employees across a broad range of HR topics, including employee relations, labor relations, talent processes, and the implementation of key HR programs.
Main Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations and Compliance
- Ensure the fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices in order to mitigate risk and promote a positive employee experience.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence to review and apply work-related procedures and address workplace concerns with integrity, empathy, and responsiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to people leaders on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
2. Union and Works Council Relations
- Collaborate with union representatives and business leaders to ensure compliance with labor agreements, support the resolution of labor disputes, and contribute to labor negotiations.
- Provide guidance on contract interpretation while fostering constructive labor-management relationships.
3. HR Program Implementation
- Lead the local execution of core HR programs, including employee surveys, performance management, year-end compensation planning, recognition initiatives, and onboarding, using consistent tools and frameworks.
- Apply change management and communication practices to support program understanding and adoption at frontline level.
- Promote the use of digital HR tools and self-service solutions by educating managers and employees, improving self-sufficiency, and ensuring data accuracy and quality.
4. Talent Management Support
- Support managers in conducting effective talent and development conversations through standardized tools and frameworks.
- Contribute to calibration discussions by providing insights on team performance, engagement, and readiness.
- Reinforce career development and internal mobility practices in line with the company’s talent philosophy.
5. Coaching for People Managers
- Provide timely and practical HR guidance to frontline People Managers on team dynamics, performance development, and organizational culture.
- Translate HR policies and tools into practical support that enhances manager effectiveness and team performance.
6. Local Policy Stewardship and Risk Management
Monitor and ensure compliance with country-level policies, procedures, and labor law requirements in partnership with COEs, People Operations, and Legal.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in HR, labor law or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Fluency in English
