INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Summary

The incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist in the Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat Directorate. Working closely with U.S. intelligence, security, and law enforcement partners, the incumbent will conduct all-source analysis to identify, assess, and neutralize foreign intelligence and cyber threats targeting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), the Trusted Workforce, critical technologies, supply chains, and personnel.

Duties

As an INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties: Threat Analysis: Conduct comprehensive all-source research and analysis to identify and assess foreign intelligence and cyber threats. Communication: Present analytical findings clearly and concisely in both oral and written reports to inform stakeholders. Collaboration: Represent DCSA at CI working groups, fostering collaboration and information sharing with partner agencies. Liaison: Maintain strong working relationships with U.S. Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities to facilitate information exchange and coordinated analytic efforts. Program Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to leadership on all aspects of CI and Insider Threat program areas, and perform administrative and information management tasks as needed.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Writing and presenting in-depth knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and techniques associated with intelligence, counterintelligence (CI), law enforcement, threats to critical technologies and/or DoW programs or related disciplines; Supplying knowledge of terminology, methodology, and intelligence gathering techniques, research and structured analytical techniques as applied to complex assignments in CI analysis.
