Description
We are a full-service commercial real estate firm serving Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio with over 30 years of experience developing, managing, and investing in commercial real estate. This 360-degree perspective gives us the expertise to maximize investment value while navigating through any real estate challenge. Backed by the best staff in the industry, our mission is to build trusting relationships with our clients through proven results, professional integrity, and exceptional service.
HPI is seeking a candidate to support acquisitions, ground-up development, and value-add repositioning across our Class A office and industrial portfolio in Dallas and adjacent markets. This role owns underwriting and deal execution end-to-end — from initial market analysis through closing, stabilization, and disposition/refinance — working directly with HPI's investment committee, capital partners, and leasing teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Underwrite acquisition, development, and value-add opportunities across office, industrial, and mixed-use assets; build and maintain financial models supporting investment decisions
· Prepare Investment Committee memoranda and debt/equity packages for new investments
· Manage full-cycle acquisition and disposition processes: market analysis, due diligence, contract negotiation, financing, and closing
· Coordinate with lenders, equity partners, family offices, and institutional investors on debt and equity capitalization
· Support ground-up development from site acquisition and entitlement through construction oversight and stabilization
· Work alongside leasing teams to drive occupancy and rent roll performance on owned assets
· Contribute to capital raising efforts, including investor materials and direct outreach
· Track and report on portfolio performance and deal pipeline to firm leadership
Requirements
Qualifications
· 4+ years of commercial real estate experience in acquisitions, development, or investment analysis
· Full-cycle deal experience: underwriting through closing, stabilization, and exit
· Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Argus and Yardi proficiency preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field
· Strong written communication skills for IC memos and investor-facing materials
· TREC license a plus
