ABOUT CODEWAY

Codeway builds category-leading consumer AI apps on mobile and web, at global scale.

600M+ downloads. 60+ apps. 400+ builders across Barcelona and İstanbul. Completely bootstrapped. No board. Profitable since year two.

Small teams move faster than big ones. But they need big resources to win at scale. Nobody starts from zero. The problem decides the solution, not us.

We turn category wins into six focused vertical companies: Wishlabs (AI Creativity), Wellture (Wellness), Learna (Education), Sparked (Media), Cosmic Jam (Entertainment), and Catalyst Apps (Utilities & Productivity). Each has full ownership and the depth to go further than anyone else in its space.

Codeway HQ powers them all. One platform. One team that finds and grows builders. One set of guardrails. Every idea born here starts with an unfair advantage: the platform, the people, and the profits of every product before it. That's the system.

Turns out you can do both.

Move like an indie. Hit like a giant.

POSITION

We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to be the day-to-day technical presence in our Barcelona office. This is the role people come to when something isn't working, when a new colleague starts, or when they need access to a tool. You'll own that experience and make it feel effortless.

You'll work across Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, and Freshservice, along with the SaaS platforms our teams depend on. You'll handle support requests, prepare and deploy devices, run onboarding and offboarding, keep our asset and access records accurate, and document what you learn along the way.

We're open on level for this role. Whether this is your first IT job or you already have a few years behind you, we'll set the level and scope to match the experience you bring.

There's room to grow here either way. That might mean getting properly good at support itself — becoming the person who handles the hardest problems and sets how the team works — or taking on more of the platform work: device management in Jamf, identity and access tasks in Okta, and the automation that removes repetitive work from the team. Where you go from there depends on what you're drawn to, whether that's support, endpoint engineering, identity, or security.

You don't need to know our platforms on day one. We're looking for someone with strong fundamentals, good technical instincts, and the curiosity to become genuinely good at them.

This is an onsite role, based in our Barcelona office. The people, devices, and meeting rooms you'll support are here, so this is where the work happens.

We welcome people with different backgrounds, experiences, and career paths. If you're excited about modern IT operations, endpoint management, and identity, we'd encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed below. We care about what you can do, how you think, and your ability to learn as much as we care about what's already on your CV.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING?

IT Support

Provide hands-on support to colleagues across devices, accounts, connectivity, and SaaS, both in person in Barcelona and remotely for our other locations.

Work the IT support queue in Freshservice, resolving requests within agreed service levels and escalating issues that need a deeper look.

Set up, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, peripherals, and meeting room equipment.

Employee Lifecycle & Access

Run onboarding and offboarding end to end, so new joiners have their equipment and access ready before they arrive, and leavers lose access on the day it's due.

Handle access requests across our SaaS environment, following our approval model rather than granting access ad hoc.

Support access reviews by flagging unused accounts, stale groups, and unnecessary permissions.

Endpoint & Asset Management

Support our macOS fleet through Jamf Pro, from enrollment through to application deployment.

Manage the device lifecycle, from procurement and enrollment through to hand-off, repair, and retirement.

Keep asset and license records accurate across devices, accounts, and applications.

Documentation & Improvement

Keep runbooks and internal documentation current, and spot the recurring requests that could be handled better.

Learn scripting and APIs to remove repetitive manual work, with support from the team to get there.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING?

Hands-on experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role. Internships, apprenticeships, student jobs, and relevant personal projects count, and we're open to strong new graduates as well as people with a few years behind them.

A technical education or a demonstrable self-taught foundation. Where you studied matters less than what you can do.

Comfort with macOS as a primary platform, and genuine curiosity about hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.

Familiarity with Google Workspace or a comparable productivity and collaboration platform.

The patience and communication skills to support colleagues with different levels of technical experience, and the instinct to close the loop rather than leave a request hanging.

The ability to troubleshoot methodically, understand how systems connect, and work out what is actually happening rather than simply following a checklist.

Professional fluency in English, which is the working language across our offices.

A willingness to keep developing your technical skills. We provide access to a learning and certification budget, with support to build skills and credentials relevant to your role and career path.

NICE TO HAVE

Exposure to an MDM platform such as Jamf Pro, Intune, or Kandji.

Exposure to an identity provider such as Okta, including basic user, group, and MFA administration.

Exposure to an ITSM platform such as Freshservice.

Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or similar, or a clear interest in getting started.

Spanish or Catalan, useful for office and vendor coordination but not a requirement.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

You'll help operate and improve a modern, cloud-first environment built around:

Okta

Google Workspace

Jamf Pro

Freshservice

Alongside these, you'll work across the wider set of SaaS platforms used across the company, including Slack and Notion.

You don't need to know these on day one. What matters is strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to get productive quickly when working with an unfamiliar platform.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within your first 12 months, you'll have:

Become the person the Barcelona office trusts to pick things up and get them resolved.

Joiner, mover, and leaver processes running reliably for the people you handle, with access granted and revoked on time.

Accurate asset and license records that the team can rely on rather than verify.

Real working knowledge of Jamf Pro and Okta, and day-to-day tasks you're comfortable taking on yourself.

Several repetitive manual tasks replaced with better processes, self-service, or automation you've helped build.

Runbooks and documentation in place for the work you own, so it isn't dependent on any one person.

A clear view of where you want to grow next, and a plan with your manager to get there.

The goal isn't simply to keep the queue moving. It's to build the technical depth and judgment that make someone genuinely good at this work. Support done well is a craft in its own right, and we treat it as one. If you want to go deeper into endpoint, identity, or automation work as the company scales, there's room for that too, but it isn't the only way to progress here. You'll join a collaborative team where IT is viewed as an enabler, not a gatekeeper.

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive Compensation. Because great work deserves great pay.

Full Private Health Insurance. Unlimited coverage.

Free Breakfast & Lunch. Every day at Codebrew, our in-office coffee shop, with barista coffee and healthy snacks all day long.

Meal & Transport Supp
