About the Role
As Lead Service Engineering - Integrated Product Support & Field Service Engineering, you will build the analytical and operational foundation for how ARX systems are maintained, repaired and supported from product development through in-service operation. You will define service requirements early, establish the Service Readiness Baseline, assure reliability and maintainability targets, prepare the hubs for execution and respond with the right technical depth when acute field demands arise.
What You'll Build
Service requirements in product development: define and maintain requirements for maintainability, diagnostics, repairability, service access, tools, test equipment, technical data and documentation.
An Integrated Product Support baseline: establish the maintenance concept, maintenance levels, LORA and task analyses that define required actions, repair boundaries and lifecycle support needs.
Reliability and maintainability assurance: establish and track MTBF, MTTR, failure distribution, maintenance intervals, repair turnaround and related target capabilities.
Lifecycle control: keep reliability assumptions, repair concepts, field findings, configuration changes, documentation and design decisions connected and traceable over the lifecycle.
Hub readiness: define and validate the personnel, qualifications, tools, test equipment, documentation, spares and escalation paths required for reliable execution.
Technical data and service documentation: own the technical service content, documentation depth by maintenance level, controlled release, change and version logic, and the required customer data deliverables.
Field Service Engineering: respond to acute technical demands that cannot be resolved remotely and work with the TSC, hubs and Product & Engineering to restore operation safely and quickly.
Design influence: convert curated field evidence into prioritised improvements to the product, maintenance concept, documentation, training or service organisation, with a binding feedback loop into Product & Engineering.
Tools and test equipment: derive requirements and workshop specifications from maintenance levels and LORA, including calibration and lifecycle control.
What You Bring
Several years of experience in Service Engineering, Integrated Product Support, Integrated Logistics Support, reliability, maintainability or field-service engineering for complex electromechanical, robotic, vehicle or industrial systems.
Experience defining service and support requirements during product development and participating in design reviews or technical release decisions.
Strong practical experience with maintenance concepts, LORA, task analysis, reliability analysis and repair-level definition.
The ability to translate failure data and operational experience into targets, maintenance actions, staffing needs, spares, tools and technical documentation.
Experience working with MTBF, MTTR, failure distributions, maintenance intervals or comparable reliability and maintainability measures.
Hands-on experience in technical diagnosis, field repair, commissioning or recovery of complex systems.
The ability to work across Product & Engineering, TSC, customer hubs, Training, Documentation, Commercial and Key Account.
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, combined with the judgement to balance lifecycle assurance with the immediate need to restore a system in the field.
Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
