Summary

This LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST position, is located in the Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics (DSCLOG), G-4; of an Army National Guard (ARNG) Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) structure and is part of the CA JFHQ Logistics.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9, is to account for the oversight of the entire state ARNG Food Service program which includes the administration of the Food Service Budget, Awards Program, new equipment fielding's, training, Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and inspections. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

Qualifications

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in: detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work required or have a combination of education and experience. (Only graduate education in excess of the amount required above may be used.) When there is a positive education or certification requirement, or you are using education to qualify as a substitution for experience, copies of transcripts (unofficial) and/or certificates are required at the time of application to verify that you meet the educational/certification requirement or substitution.
