LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PMOSSP Flight Systems (SPF), Integrated Product Support Division (SPF60) of PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE SSP. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Duties

• •You will develop, implement, and perform product support functions that require planning, coordinating, and evaluating actions performed in support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile program’s mission.
• •You will ensure program level efforts to modernize systems or subsystems are aligned and integrated with SPF Integrated Product Support Division.
• •You will participate in all design, development, and production activities to provide guidance and expertise on IPS functions and how they should be integrated best into the program/project.
• •You will conduct business case analysis (BCA) and analysis of alternatives (AOA), as required, in presenting the best options to implement latest trends/processes.
• •You will review configuration management documents, which includes product drawings, to ensure the program is selecting the right hardware for the design
• •You will ensure product support requirements from the contractor and other government agencies are realized into program schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Appling DoD acquisition lifecycle, logistics, product support, configuration management, and engineering processes by interpreting technical data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with government management to support effective system operations and sustainment.
