Summary

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, N97 Submarines & Maritime Industrial Operations Directorate. These positions are located within the Submarine Industrial Support Branch (N9771).

Duties

  • You will identify current/forecasted barriers to organizational objectives within the supply chain.
  • You will be expected to innovatively produce solutions for problems of varying complexity and develop multiple courses of action to ensure mission success.
  • You will develop and conduct briefs for leadership in various forums on the current state of measures enacted to eliminate or mitigate any issues.
  • You will employ supply chain management processes, procedures, and tools to enhance the availability of materials and supplies for accomplishment of maintenance projects.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Understanding of inventory management and lifecycle logistic support; utilizing software and data management tools to gain a holistic view of the fleet support environment. Possessing communication skills to successfully coordinate with internal and external partners across multiple organizations; facilitating adequate stocking levels and timely order fulfillment for high-priority projects. Conducting analyses on a regular basis to identify current/forecasted barriers to organizational objectives within the supply chain. Producing solutions for problems of varying complexity and developing multiple courses of action to ensure mission success; developing and conducting briefs for leadership in various forums on the current state of measures enacted to eliminate or mitigate any issues.
