As an LPN on our team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.

This role provides the opportunity to expand your nursing skills through hands-on clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of patients across the lifespan.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide professional nursing care to patients.

Administer medication.

Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.

Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.

Implement pain management assessments and documentation.

Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.

Follow Code Blue protocol.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate of Accredited LPN program

Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification
  • Knowledge of infection control practices

Computer literacy

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • One year of clinical experience
  • Med/Surg & telemetry experience
  • Urgent care experience
  • One year of experience in outpatient setting
