Role Summary:

The Boarding Agent will be responsible for delivering efficient ship agency services, coordinating vessel operations, shipping documentation and client requirements while ensuring compliance with company and Health & Safety standards.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Qormi, Malta (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality ship agency services, ensuring a professional and efficient service to clients.

Coordinate vessel arrivals and manage pre-arrival documentation with vessels, ports, terminals and relevant authorities.

Attend and board vessels as required to support port call operations.

Prepare and issue booking confirmations, loading lists and other required shipping documentation.

Create and process Bills of Lading, including issuing drafts to clients for review.

Prepare and issue invoices for completed shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Coordinate the preparation and delivery of documentation to clients.

Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience within ship agency or the wider shipping/maritime industry is preferred.

Good understanding of crew change processes and related requirements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.

Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Valid driving licence.
