Role Outcome

We are looking for a Manufacturing and Assembly specialist that keeps the physical side of manufacturing running smoothly. Materials should move in and out accurately and on time, the shop should stay organized and fully functional, and hands-on build, assembly, and repair work should be done safely and reliably so engineering and operations can work without interruption.

We are looking for someone who is

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Has demonstrated capability in a safe manner with hand tools for mechanical work, such as:

Basic metalworking tools (drill, files, vise)

Basic assembly tools (torque control tools, wrenches and sockets)

Experienced in microelectronics service work using tools such as digital multimeter, soldering iron, contact crimpers, and bench supplies

Physically capable of carrying boxes and materials, and comfortable with regular lifting and moving of equipment and supplies around the shop

Able to demonstrate basic compute/smartphone skills, including:

Project management tools / productivity applications / web applications

Command line tools

Exposure to computer networking

Experienced with shipping and receiving:

Familiarity with domestic parcel carriers

Domestic LTL and international shipping a plus

Job requirements

Communicate effectively across the organization and within the department

Engage regularly with other team members and work cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and other departments

Follow complex procedures across multiple platforms

Organize and prioritize work over a 3-5 day span, balancing urgent and longer-term responsibilities

Support efforts to organize raw materials and finished goods in the shop

Manage and maintain shop equipment, keeping tools and workspaces organized, in good working order, and ready for use

Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds

Climb and work from ladders up to 12 feet to access elevated storage and equipment

Stand for extended periods

Work on-site five days a week from 10am to 6pm

CA driving license required
