Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineering Trainee at GE Aerospace will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, supporting the development and implementation of efficient and robust manufacturing solutions for aerospace components. This role offers an immersive learning environment for aspiring manufacturing engineers.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • -Participate in the development and management of manufacturing processes, including work instructions and operation sheets
  • -Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
  • -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality, and supply chain, to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • -Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and propose corrective actions.
  • -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Job Qualifications:
  • -Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • -Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • -Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • -Written and verbal communication skills.
  • -Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • -Strong desire to learn and grow within the manufacturing engineering discipline.
