Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly

Pay Range:

$20.00 - $23.65

Position Summary:

The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Some of the major areas of responsibility are, but not limited to the following.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Visually inspect, assemble, and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.
• •Able to follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required
• •Ability to use a computer to perform tests, download information or record test data.
• •Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time
• •Able to use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges
• •Good hand-eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly
• •Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• •Attention to detail
• •Good communication skills (written and oral)
• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly a plus
• •Experience in electronic or medical device assembly a plus
