Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and relationship-focused Marketing & Brand Engagement Coordinator to elevate our organization's visibility and community presence. This in-person role is responsible for developing compelling content, strengthening brand awareness, managing social media platforms, capturing photos and videos, and representing the organization at community events. The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and brand ambassador who enjoys creating engaging content while building meaningful connections throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Digital Marketing:

Create engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.

Write, edit, and publish social media posts that align with organizational goals and brand standards.

Develop content calendars and coordinate marketing initiatives.

Create graphics, stories, reels, and promotional materials.

Monitor engagement metrics and recommend strategies to improve reach and audience growth.

SEO marketing (Search Engine Optimization marketing)

Brand Marketing:

Support the development and execution of brand marketing strategies.

Ensure consistency of messaging, visuals, and brand identity across all platforms.

Promote organizational programs, services, events, and successes.

Collaborate with leadership and departments to highlight key initiatives and achievements.

Assist with marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness and community engagement.

Photography & Videography

Capture high-quality photos and videos of programs, events, staff, and participant activities.

Edit and produce short-form videos, reels, and promotional content.

Maintain an organized library of digital media assets.

Create visual storytelling content that highlights the organization's impact and mission.

Community Representation & Events:

Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, job fairs, and partnership meetings.

Coordinate promotional materials and displays for events.

Build relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and supporters.

Qualifications:

BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management, or related roles.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social platforms.

Experience with photography and videography.

Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content-creation tools.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in nonprofit, education, healthcare, or community-based organizations.

Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance tracking.

Experience coordinating community outreach initiatives
